Brandy was the 2005 National High Point Puppy. She was the first dog I trained for field trials. Brandy made it very easy. She has an incredible natural instinct, runs like the wind, has a great nose, is very animated in the field, and never quits. When hunting she would kill herself if I would let her. Brandy has her field trial championship and her amateur field trial championship. She has so many ribbons and trophies my wife will not let me display them all. When she is in the house you wouldn’t even know she is there, she has wonderful manners. Brandy is very obedient with an incredible desire to hunt. A professional trainer once told me, “Brandy is you’re once in a life time dog!”
After having a nice 2010 trial season, we have decided to retire Brandy from field trials. The past couple of years we have run just a few trials with Brandy. This had to do with her either her having puppies or simply the cost of the trials. But still she was very successful. We don’t feel there is anything left for her to prove. She will now be reserved to being my personal hunting dog and house companion.
She has had 7 puppies out of two different litters. The last litter of puppies has been distributed throughout the US and should start field trialing in the next year or so. We are planning her next litter in 2011. Please contact us if interested in a puppy.
